Sajal Mool Jinh Saritanh Nahim (21): Those Rivers With No Water Source

img_1446

Hanumanji speaks to Ravan( SundarKanda continued)

*

Ram charan  pankaj ur dharahu/Lanka achal raju achal tumh karahu//

Rishi Pulastya jasu bimal mayanka/ tehi sasi jani hohu kalanka//

Carry the lotus feet of SreeRamji in your heart, and rule Lanka in serenity

Rishi Pulastya’s fame is like the pure, untarnished moon, do not cast a stain on it ( Pulastya is Ravan’s grandfather)

*

Ram naam binu gira na soha/dekhu bichari tyagi mad moha//

Basan heen nahim soh suhaari/sab bhushan bhushit bar naari//

Without reciting the name of SreeRam, no speech is graceful, leave aside your Ego(pride and desire ) and reflect,

Even the loveliest of women bedecked in ornaments will not be graceful without her clothes

*

Ram bimukh sampati prabhutai/ jaayi rahi ppayi binu payi//

Sajal mool jinh saritanh nahim/barshi gayem puni tabahim sukhahim//

A person who lives without remembering The Lord( SreeRamji), his prosperity and radiance will soon disappear, and even when he has them, it is akin to not having them at all

Those rivers which have  no water source( which are dependent on the rains) will soon dry up as soon as the rains abate

*

Sunu Daskand kahavu pan ropi/bimukh Ram trata nahim kopi//

Sankar Sahas Bishnu aj tohi/ sakahim na rakhi Ram kar drohi//

Hey Ravan! I swear that no one will protect the person who turns his face away from Sree Ramji

Many thousands of Shiv, Brahma or Vishnu will not be able to save you, since you are causing harm to SreeRamji

*

Doha:

Mohmool bahu sool prad tyagu tam abhiman/

Bhajahu Ram Raghunayak kripa sindhu bhagvan//

Drop your dark pride which is based on desire, which is ignorant, which causes intense grief

Meditate on the Ocean of compassion, Bhagvan SreeRamchandraji

*

Jadapi kahi kapi athi hith baani/bhagati bibek birathi nay saani//

Bola bihasi Maha Abhimani/mila hamahi kapi Guru bade gyani//

Though Hanumanji said many helpful words replete with devotion, wisdom, detachment and justice

Still the great egotist Ravan laughed and mocked, that ‘See, I have got a  learned Monkey Guru now.’
